Richmond might be a tiny village in the heart of the Karoo, but that doesn't mean that nothing is going on, and we sure do attract a lot of attention for such a small village (We've had over 90,000 visitors to our village in cyberspace), thank you for visiting our web-site and our village, The only Booktown in Africa and South Africa's first mural village.
Just in case anyone is mistaken, Richmond isn't just about books, we're a farming community, right in the heart of lamb country, with the village's main industries being wool and naturally those delicious Karoo lamb chops that the world is raving about.
